Annelise, our middle child, is one of a kind. She always says or does the funniest or cutest things, and Nappy and I find ourselves turning our heads to laugh or trying hard to hold the laughter sometimes. Her little quips and actions come so randomly sometimes that it just throws you off. She could be in big trouble and in the middle of being disciplined and yet find a way to just crack us up. So anyway, recently there were two incidents that were hilarious and worth mentioning.

So bad...
Ok, so here I go starting something that I probably shouldn't have. What was I thinking to start a blog when I have never in my life been able to even keep a journal? Anyway, since the last post, things have been busy. Last week, Jonah had an ultrasound to check his bladder, kidneys and the like. Then he had a VCUG, which I have no idea what that stands for. All I know is that it was a test where they stick a catheter in the poor boy and shoot a die in his bladder. Then, he's supposed to pee all that stuff out and they check to see if any pee "refluxes" or goes back up into his system. Well, I'm sure my interpretation isn't really scientific but that's what it looked like to me. My little guy was such a trooper. He didn't cry when they stuck the catheter in him. However, he did cry when he tried to pee all that stuff out of his system. Regardless, he's ok for now. The doc called a few days later and said that his kidneys are a little inflamed, and they will do another ultrasound at his 1 year check up to monitor that. What a relief. Now, our current dilemma is getting him to sleep thru the night without waking up. We just started to try some things out, so I'll keep you posted on that.

Happy Mommy's Day!
Well, where to start? Happy Mother’s Day to all the mama’s out there. Even if it’s for a day that we get recognized, hope you enjoyed your time with your loved ones. In the Lam household, it was quite an eventful day. Not only was it Mother’s Day, but baby Jonah was dedicated. It’s always exciting to know that God’s got your back and it extends down to your children and their children and so on. We are truly blessed to be a part of a community that is supportive and loving. So, after much debate, here goes… our first official blog post!
